South Mississippi native Julie Mann’s musical training began in childhood. Influenced by her mother (a classical guitarist and violinist) and her father (former bassist of The Webs), she utilizes a variety of instruments and styles. Julie’s sound is difficult to categorize, as it ranges from modest, heart-felt melodies to energetic riffs with a dark southern twist. Among her favorite instruments to play are drums, piano, banjo, bass, guitar, and mandolin. Julie has teamed up with various musicians and bands, including Integer of Miami, but she is currently pursuing a career as a solo artist. Lyrically, Julie’s songwriting is inspired by personal experience, as well as her political views. She is currently working on recording her debut solo album Demolition.
