OUToberfest History

OUToberfest is the brainchild of Unity Mississippi and the result of an 86% approval rating of a constitutional amendment that intentionally limits marriage between a man and a woman. OUToberfest is a celebration of the Mississippi lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender/transexual, and queer community (and our friends) and features many local and national organizations, groups, businesses, artists, musicians and more. It is also the state's first National Coming Out Day celebration of its kind.

OUToberfest is a celebration of Mississippi's and the South's LGBTQ community and its allies and is held around National Coming Out Day.

OUToberfest will continue to grow and attract the best, LGBT and LGBT-friendly entertainment.
